I was just wondering how many extended breastfeeders we have here? My youngest just turned two at the end of last month and this is the longest I've breastfed. I can see going till she's done, too, unless some upcoming and likely drastic life changes change that ability/availability.

I nursed until Ellie was 2 years and 1 or 2 months. Don't quite remember now. Dunno if that counts as "extended" or not...

I breastfeed my twins until some time past their third birthday. It stopped when they stopped coming into my bed at night.

My son is 3y8m and still has "mummy feed" at least once a day - usually by climbing into my bed shortly before we get up. It seems to be much more about comfort/connection than food these days. I did institute a rule a few months ago that it was only in bed, and that's cut back on feeds quite a lot.

I breastfed my first for 15 months if that counts. I plan on breastfeeding my current nursling for at least that long unless he self weans.
